H.TS LAST OUTING ON THE ICE FOR 2009/20010

ok it was hard to make this decision but i am done ice fishing for the year as of today. i fished the pond yesterday and for the last time. dragging around a life vest and a rope and watching every step you take is getting old to say the least. i have pushed it past the limits in years past and i have paid the penalty's of going thru. i am getting smarter as i get older i guess. anyway i want to say that over the last months on ice shanty i have met some great fisherman that i was lucky to meet in person along with people on here i have yet to met in person but will at sometime i am sure. i have a passion for ice fishing as all of you know and i would say that i have had a great season and i can not wait until next year. until then i will continue my off season on the soft water as usual. i will talk to you die hards on MFF. i want to thank the MODS on ice shanty that were very helpful and took care of somethings for me. and i appreciate all of the info that all of you guys and gals posted over the season this year. i wish everyone a safe and productive off season form ice fishing and i will talk to you on MFF until we get the next freeze.





What the heck is this thing? it looks like a giant creek chub. i guess its a fall fish?


once again i want to thank eneryone for all the information over the season and i will talk to you diehards again over on MFF. oh ya- hey KP - did you finish that bathroom yet so you can go fishing or what???

Great job HT. You guys really knocked em out this year. That's a fallfish. I don't know how they fight through the ice, but when I catch them in the river fishing for walleyes, they fight like crazy.
