Definitely the HOOSIER state!!  GO BIG RED!!  With Hummel out there is no way that Purdue will ever be ranked #1 (tough luck btw)...  Since my Hoosiers are not worth a damn this year I guess I would like to see Purdue do ok in the big dance... I guess...   ;D

Purdue grad of '08, not liking the way things are ending up.  Sad story of a year.  But then again we could be down 20 to iowa and at the bottom of the big 1o

Well, I don't have to worry about anything like March madness messing up my ice-out crappie fishing.  I got suckered into temporarily rooting for the wrong side a few times in past yrs to support my northern Indiana brethern.... but they always choke in the tournament.... so learned my lesson and sticking to crappie fishing.

I do believe they played in the title game in 1969?  Rick Mount was their star.  They also went to the Final Four in 1980.   Tough break losing Hummel.

To top it off my daughter had an appointment at 8:00 with ONE and her doctor was a Michigan State grad.
So we talked Big Ten and the loss of Hummel. :'(

Big loss of a player.  As an IU fan I can only think of the what ifs..    Scott May went down in'75.  Mike Woodson in '80.  Landon Turner in '81.  Pat Graham in '91.  Alan Henderson in '92.  The Boilers were looking dang good.  I hope they can regroup and learn how to play without him.

Yes Rico and the Final Four in Indy! :'( Hummel looked like he was seriously bumming at the
game yesterday. Of course my daughter is kinda in the same boat with her injury.

I am also a big IU(Bobby Knight) fan.  I could not stand Purdue when Keady was the coach.  Now since IU sucks I will root for Purdue to go as far as they can.  Bummer when Hummil went down.

Yep, while IU is rebuilding I'll throw my support behind Purdue.  But as soon as the Cream and Crimson are competitive again, I'll forget all about West Lafayette.  :)
