Hi Hard water nuts,
Many years ago back in the 60's ::), I used to see an older fisherman on Wilsons...Joe Demars...Joe told me when you see a day moon get off the ice the fish don't bite well!? What you think? fact or fiction? I was out today on Pascoag res. and it was slow no big fish...the other day it took me over an hour to get 10 tilts in!
Any opinions on the day moon theory?

Well
it might be fiction...i'm 60 and been ice fishing sence i was old enough to walk 2 miles to get a shoe box full of mummies...i have never paid much attention to the day moon advise...but yesterday it was rather slow and i looked up and saw a day moon..and wondered..was old Joe Demarse right?
so I thought i would ask for some input. just as another topic for this forum..
but i did jig up several nice calico's (crappie) and big perch...
good luck to all 2day...
