Pike fair, 6 Burbs, if on the flats( sand bottom) fair, sunset one walleye.  and 2 sun burned faces.  8)

Sounds not too bad.  I might head up that way tomo.  Wouldn't mind getting into some burbs.  Is this in Echo bay?  Can you drive on?  I'll definitely remember the sun screen.  Thanks for the info.

Good work!  That burbot on the far right is the ugliest one I have even seen! I hope you threw it back. I'm heading out for burbot tomorrow. Hopefully no ugly ones though!

lol.. Indeed Echo Bay, yes there were trucks on it, lotsa ice, pike hitting from 0839 till about 11.am Burbs later. Ya that one Burb in the pic is one ugly mo-foe  now its bear baiting time

Bait with the pike and eat the Burbot you wont be dissapointed!!!!

10-4 just skinned them  :)this morning and had deep fried Burb and a few beer.

Decided to try Echo Bay today.  First time there, so I wasn't really sure where to go.  Ended up fishing around "the narrows."  There were a few shacks there.  Moved around a bit too.  Fished most of the day without a bite, then finally iced 2 pike later afternoon.  Didn't catch or even see a Burbot though which is what I was hoping for.
