nice musky today

i caught this 44 1/2 inch musky this morning, it had someone elses hali
hanging out of its top lip, i took that out and went to remove my hook
and found another half rotted treble in its mouth, this fish broke someone
else off twice, so i did some quick dentistry and a measurement and released
for someone else to catch, you can see the sore on its mouth where the hali
is stuck, must be my lucky day and the fishes also, to get all that junk out of its mouth

thats a beautiful fish there hey , just wondering what state youre in and if musky are legal to keep there...here in Northern Wisconsin we catch quite a few of them through the ice but even if we wanted to we cant keep em cuz da season ends nov30th every year............

yes that is correct our season ends nov. 30 here in new york also, so i could not keep it anyway, unless it is a tiger musky that is open until mar 15th

Ive only ever caught a little baby pike. man i would love to catch one of those monsters. i was watching a fishing show on saturday and they were catching huge muskie out of a little river or stream that is somewhere near me in ohio.
