i did try them they said that they wouldnt carry them till next year. the only place i didnt try was cableas but i dont think they would have them and its a bit of a drive thanks for the suggestion any others?

Go to Cableas on line have it sent to the store (nc) They did have an on line 20 dollars off coupon on line use only.I did this for a 7 inch underwater camra and ended up at $127.

Order it online and as you checkout there is an option for in-store pickup, I've used it a couple times.

I am not totally certain, but i think the company that makes it (Nature Vision) has been going through some kind of changes. I have the original VPG (vertical pictel graph) and have been trying to contact the company about updating the software but have had no luck. I like the VPG but it has some limitations. If you fish in deep water the transducer is not made for it. You lose track of your bait. It would also be better if there were different colors for your bait and a fish. I use mine a lot for panfish it works really good from 5 to 30 feet. May need to wait for the company to come back into service after all the restructuring.

ok is the compony planning on coming back ? and also the new 5.6 is supposed to fix that lossing your jig right i done a lot of reseach but maybe not enough. i jyst dont under stand all those different colors and spinning of a vexlair and marcums and things fished with them many times and dont understand them

have not seen anything lately about it, the company was supposed to come back. As far as fixing losing site of the bait it would require a narrower transducer and last i checked they only have one size. I agree the spinning circle can be a pain and I like the fact I can watch the entire depth in case fish come through higher up in the water. The newer updates will allow me to adjust my zoom by the foot, currently i can only move by 5 foot intervals, so if the bottom is at 21 feet half my screen in the bottom and I can only see up to 15 ft. I am hoping it comes back, if you hear anything new put it here so we all now. I will do the same.

ok will do i am thinking about doing reseach in november and then buying one right away im sure other componys will make upgrades and maybe the showdown but i do like the vertical colonm andthe 18 deagree transduser is what i heard to get for any sonar or flasher but thats just the info i been getting
