what to get

i want something to help find fish while jigging, but have the same old story. im 17 and cant find a job. what is the cheapest best thing to get

Check Ebay, and the end of season sales at the big sporting goods stores.  You might be able to score something on craigslist, too.

I'd say get a flasher, but lots of ther people will tell you lots of other things.  I had an underwater camera until it broke, and the flasher was way easier to get into the water to use for hole-hopping.

How much cash you got?  I got a buddy who bought a Marcum vx-1 pro in mid december and now can't make it out on the ice(Wife has to work weekends)  give me a message and we can talk.

I would check ebay and maybe find an old Zercom or Lawrance flasher.
