spooled!!!!!!!!!! first time for me...getting old i guess...

was messing around w/a  big crappie trying to take a pic when i realize i had a flag....run over there as fast as i can run in 12" of snow and 4" of slush...get there and see that i'm completely spooled!!!!!  never happened to me before.  start pulling it in thinking i had a MONSTER!  ended up being a 2/2.5lb larry.  so glad the line held on the spool...would have been horrible if i lost the 150ft of line and my setup!!!!!!!

ended up with 2 14" to 15" crappie and 2 larries around 2.5lbs.  missed a few crappie and one bass (guessing)...   not a bad 2hrs of fishing!!!!

oh, and check out the hook placement...

about five years ago pickeral boy was picking up traps at the end of the day....the flag never popped.....the line was completely gone off the spool and at the other end.....a 5 1/2 pound largie....

Had a friend complaining that he wasn't catching any fish while we were killing them. Told him to check the bait. When he did he was spooled. He put the flag on wrong and it didn't go up. LOL Showed him how and asked if his other trap was all set. He went and checked said it was ok. At the end of the day this trap was spooled. Caught a laker on each one. Too funny, we still give him sh--t about it.
