Moose Lake?
« on: Jan 16, 2010, 01:04 PM »
Hi guys,
New member here. Just returning to ice fishing after about a 15 year hiatus. Anyway I was thinking of trying Moose Lake(I think that's the name) I've heard it's south of Caroline. Can anyone post exactly how to get there either from Caroline or highway 22. Any fishing reports would be nice too. Thanks.

Randy.

moose outside of bonnyville is a hot spot right now
be careful fishing there wardens out there in full force.
i have some friends who do the shotgun start tournament there in the summer, and were b***hing about catching 5lb 6lb 7lb, and a monster for the lake they say 8.3 lb walleyes this past month.. they said if they woulda caught these walleyes during the tournament they woulda took it down hahahaha. but yes a very well producing lake. pike are also biting there. great lake!
