French River Central Mass

Decided to hit the French River today for S@G. Thought we would test the waters and see if the place was any good, caught more fish today than all season so far!! 3 of us went out from 7 to 330 and hit 2 Pike 8.8lbs and 11.2 lbs, 7 Bass biggest was 5.10lbs, a small rainbow trout, LOTS of perch and a few Slime Darts.. Will try and post pics later!!!!

damn nice size bass. i still have yet to get one this season over 3 lbs.

I never knew there were pike in the French River,are they all over,how much ice?

oops my bad it's not the french river its the CT river i get them confused all the time.. there are no pike in the french river but I hear Browning Pond in Spencer is pretty good for pike

be very careful poking around those waters if you dont know them,thats flowing water , and surrounded by private property, those guys will tell ya.
