Anyone been to the park yet? Mud or the Narrows? Just wondered.I probably won't make it out till next week, ice permitting.

i checked there last week and i didn't find any ice i was comfortable with venturing out over 35' of water. Some ice, but it wasn't as safe as other area channels and with the snow i would say its a no go.

I talked to a guy who checked it out last Friday, and he said that it was not good to go... yet.  I would give it some time as Fish_Tko has already suggested.

They have been fishing mud for a week today but that's it as of now it should be alright herd next week hopefully depending on the weather today and Christmas day

I fished Weber last Sunday across from the park.  I was amazed at the amount of snow on the ice.
