lures for walleye

i am thinking about buying some chubby darter but i was just wondering what size and color is good for walleyes. i was thinking about buying the blue and silver. is that a good color to try out. thanks in advance.

I have 4 darters.........2 number 3's and 2 number 4's........I have found that the perch color both regular and hot perch work very well...........the roach color and shad also work great.............I have not used the blue and silver color as I dont believe it would produce as well as a natural baitfish color................h ope this helps a little

best color for walleye  for me would be YELLOW, not chatruese.

ya i agree perch colors maybe bronze ,but her i love the swedish pimps there me ole faithful, use to fish with an oldtimer was awsome but has passed swor on white and black only ya couldnt hang with him always think of that when bite is slow!

Those new holographic glow Chubby Darters will take care of a lot of situations.  They only come in size 3,4,and 5.  I have a size 6 of Perch and Dace pattern and they work in some situation where bigger is better.

Match the hatch, so to speak. If you can figure out what their natural forage is it's a no brainer. Open 1 up and check the stomach contents.

On the lake I fish ( Finger Lakes area western Ny) sammal perch patters are the best
