Assembling the Clam Kodiak!(pics)

So I thought I'd do a little step by step of assembling this shanty and describe it to you with pics.
The tools I used where:
1. a phillips screw driver
2. a regular screw driver
3. a 7/16 socket and rachet (a 7/16 wrench would work fine)
4. a hammer
5. a cordless drill with a phillips bit (not nessesary)

Straight out of the box this is how it looks. The poles are not in the pic but you'll see them in other pics.

The first thing to do is attach the seat brackets and the pole brackets. There are three different holes in the pole brackets, you use the two closest to the pointed end of the bracket.

The next step it to assemble the seat assembly. Rotate the seat swival to gain access to the holes and attach it to the bracket.

Next flip the assembly over onto the seat and attach it. Once done you can either set it aside or install it in the sled. It will be easier to install the tarp if you set it aside.

The next step is to install three of the four poles on the sled. On the end of each pole goes the slide. after I put the on the pole I had to tap them the rest of the way on with a hammer. Then you simply bolt on three of the four loops.

Then you feed the last pole through the three loops in tarp by the door and intall the tarp and this last loop to the sled. This is the hardest step but it's not that tough it's just combersome as it's a large tarp. Once the tarp was in place and the velcro loops attached to the rods you attach the channel over the tarp to the slep and secure it with screws. This was where I used the cordless drill as you have to make you own holes with the self tapping screw.

Here is the wind break position.

I am going to make another spreader pole to use it in this position too.

The seat assembly has a nice option of being able to hinge it over to access the tub.

Now the garage is warming up so I can start modding it! ;D Just ad my own bells and whistles! ;D

Thanks for the pics, doesn't look too bad to assemble.  Post pics of your mods too.
