good fishing
« on: Dec 16, 2009, 06:51 PM »
Was over by Pilger today fishing on a pond and the bite was fairly active all day.  Caught a good number of bluegills and some really nice sized ones and caught a bunch of little bass.  Ice was 10 inches or better.  :)

Were you fishing the sand quarry south of town?

Public or private DT, sorry for all the questions but we venture up that way on occasion and I'm always looking for somewhere new to try. I have a couple friends that have cabins on The Quarry lake, so we fish that with them sometimes.

It is a public piece of water, i gan give you gps coordinates.  i think it is on Nebraska public waters (lake leigha)  small pond 2-4 acres.  Always decent early in season and gets slow later
