More/Different Jigging

I usually just jig using moonglows or gill pills but after reading several (hundred) posts here... I just rang out during my lunch hour and picked up 4 Lindy Slick Jigs and a jar of Gulp Alive Minnow Heads   

I picked up two 1/16 oz (yellow/green & red), one 1/8 oz in teal, and one 3/16 in silver.  I wasn't sure what color to get in the minnow heads, so I just got chartreuse and pepper as that color has always produced for me during open water.

As usual, I can only assume that by the end of the season I will have about every color and size and 17 jars of various gulp type baits.

You dont have to buy all the Gulps out there....u can catch a sucker and use its meat and eye. In fact you can use all of your catches eyes. Eye works great with a Hali for walleye and perch up here in Montana!

I used the gulp minnow heads last year and really liked them, bought more again this year. I use the smelt color the most
