Not much real close by (I live in Dixon) so I tend to hit Carlton, Shabbona, and Missisippi backwaters which are all within about an hours drive.  I have access to Lost Lake as well, but tend to chase yellow perch, big gills so that kinda rules Lost out for a lot of my ice action.

I haven't fished Shabbona on the ice yet. But i do get over there once a year in the summer. I mainly fish Lake Carlton, since it's only about a 3 mile drive for me. I also have access to a private Highway pond north of Morrison. Haven't been out this yet this year.
