I believe after as well.  I'm starting to think we'll be lucky if we get more than few weeks on the ice this year in Northern Illinois.

Well, I saw my 1st iceover of some ponds this weekend.  I say the Monday after Xmas, when we all go back to work!

The ice is forming quick in northern IL. It should be safe by next weekend.Thats if the snow dosent kill it.

In Mchenry county skim ice everywhere. Just hope it builds quickly they are calling for heavy snow wednesday. Like the snow but hope they are wrong . Need ice now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
