I would like to try this out this winter. I dint need to know anybody's secret spot. I have no snowmobile so I will just be pulling my jet sled from shore. I would like to set up a few tip ups for pike and do some jiggin for perch and crappie if I can find them. Just looking for some general tips like water depth and such. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Walleye fishing down there was great last year. Pike and crappie are always pretty decent. Kinda like fishing a river on that end of the lake. If the water stays clear the fishing should be real good.PM me and I can give you a couple hot spots.

bensens landing boat ramp is a great place to fish. If you go out about 1oo yrds or so you get to the channel where you will catch perch, walleyes, pike and others. It's weedy on the edges and gets about 15 ft deep in the channel. good luck.

I've been fishing the lake for quite a few years but have never ice fished much further south than Ti. Are there any hotels or winterized cabins in the area?

Fairhaven is a few miles south of Benson, Rte 4 and 22A cross there, I believe there are places to stay there.
