Clark Fork River- when icy water rises
« on: Dec 09, 2009, 05:07 PM »
This is the Clark Fork River below our place, about 10 miles East of Thompson Falls. The ice piling up caused the water level to rise over three feet in less than 24 hours. Was not expecting that! Anyway, saved the boat and all is well. We catch a lot of fish here in the warmer weather (rainbows, pike and some other misc fish), but you won't get me out there on that ice. I'll stick to lakes with steady water levels. There are some around that will go out there though. Enjoy the pics ::)    Adam
This is my first try with Photobucket, so here goes:

Hi neighbor. Just downstream from you a bit.
Good job on saving the boat and good luck with the motor.

Nice scary pics of the main input for LPO.

Stay on top and safe.
