im moveing to hornell Ny and im 45 min from cuba lake where else do u guys know of where i can drop a line this ice season??? or would some  guys down this way wanna hook up and do some slayin when this area gets a lil more solid

You are in easy range of Honeoye (my favorite), Canadice, Hemlock, Loon and Conesus.  I can be from the south end of Conesus to Hornell in about a half hour or a little more...the other 3 lakes are under an hour easy.  At least 1 of these 5 lakes has whatever you are looking for whether trout, Pike/tigers, Walleye, Perch, Craps, Bass, bluegills, Pickeral ...

I live just south of Hornell in Canisteo.  I fish loon, honeyoe, conseus, keuka, hemlock......Keep watching the post once Loon locks up everyone will be there show up and meet people this site is great for the info we all share and for hooking up to fish with someone.  With that said I will be in touch once this lock up and maybe we can fish.

Fingerlaker and deebsey are right on their picks.  I grew up there and still fish all those places.  It sounds like loon will be busy once it freezes.

Was hit hard last year and I am sure it will be again as soon as it locks up......But thats half the fun!

Yes it is a fun lake.  I still remember riding my bike there over from cohocton as a kid to ice fish it
