Heres some pics as we call it a chinook arch which when this happens the tempersture will increase a fair amount in degrees

Whats the temp there,it is noon here right now and our temp is 15 celcius

If you look at the sky the clouds have a big arch in them.This is called a chinook arch which very warm air comes over the mountains and increases the temperature.We get these throughout the whole winter at times

I just think it's strange that you can be hundreds of miles north of me here in Colorado and yesterday morning I was 1 degree above 0 fahrenheit,
-17 Celsius. Granted I'm at a higher elevation,but some guys around here are already fishing the hardwater. Hope you get ice soon!

yeah i am about 750 km / 460 miles north of calgary and i woke up to -17 celius. now it is calling for +2 for tomorrow lol
