This is Cabelas (in Winnipeg) 7" camera.  It is $200 and would probably be much cheaper than shipping from the States.  It uses the same camera as the Marcum which I believe is better than the fish tv camera.  I have no experience with it.  On the american Cabelas website, there are lots of reviews for it that you can read.

I actually just picked up the Cabela's 7" camera.  It looks like a fantastic unit.  The camera is nice and clear (it has a CCD camera vs the CMOS one on the 5" model).  It also comes with a softpack that everything fits into.  The most impressive part for me was the IR lighting.  With my apartment COMPLETELY dark, I turned on the IR, and the image on the screen looked like daytime.  You can shut off this feature during the day if you don't need it.  All in all, it looks like an awesome camera for the money, compared to what else is on the market.  You can't get much else for $200.

Nice!  You have almost sold me on this!  Any idea what the difference between CCD and CMOS is?  Is it just a better camera?  It looked like a decent priced unit and decent quality unit and the reviews seemed decent.  Did you pick yours up from the Canadian Cabelas?  How much was the total cost with shipping?

Yes, I picked mine up from Cabelas Canada.  The total cost with shipping to S'toon was about $240.

As for the CCD vs CMOS, ask and you shall recieve.  I had read an excellent description on these on some random spygear website (but unfortunately I can't find the exact site now).  The short of it is, CCD cameras are more expensive to produce, are more sensitive to low light levels (a good thing in our case), and provide a much sharper image.  CMOS is cheaper to produce, less sensitive, and provides a grainier image.  The image the site I had originally read was a much better comparison of black and white pictures, but this is all I could find.  You know how to get ahold of me, so if you want, gimme a call and you can come check it out whenever you'd like.

Correction on the price.  I just got my visa statement, and it was $225 to Saskatoon.

Nice.  Things keep looking better and better!  Maybe I will just have to check it out before I make the plunge.
