 Never fished the bog, anyone now how the fishing has been this season? Thinking off taking a trip down.

Well it has been slow as it has been slow everywhere...But I was able to pull out a 11.2 lb one at the lions club derby that was a 5th place fish so there was 4 others bigger pulled out the same day... Come down Sunday as we are having a shanty gathering and small derby..Hope to see you soon

in nh you can use yellow perch as bait in any lake or pond trough the ice and some lakes the law carries trough all season.

In mass you can use yellow perch all year. The only bait with rtime restrictions is smelts.
There is a list of fish you can catch and use for bait on the Mass Wildlife website . Look in the fishing regulation section.
