I think everyone is going to want one of those. Could be the next JetSled. She's a hunny. The stove is a nice touch.

How bout an auger rack? Judging by what you've done so far I'm sure you can come up with something smashing!

well went to ktp in Maine to get the auger mount   madd dog mount for an atv  to put on the top of my box and didn't like it it looked to bulky  would be fine if i was putting it on an ATV  i like the concept of the straps to hold the handle and for 60 bucks i can make something on that idea and would look allot better on the lid

The satisfaction that you get from what you do really show's in your workmanship.
Could you tell me where to find aluminum like you have in this masterpiece?
I just posted some pic's on a homemade auger rack I threw together because I didn't like the prices of the store bought units but it cant' compare to what you have done.
Thanks for all the pic' and idea's.

Hey rayman   thanks for the complements  and that goes for all who did    the aluminum sheets are from clean room walls so if you know someone who builds clean rooms rattle his cage  i think I've gone over board I'm getting to fussy   i like the madd dog auger mount but did like the price for what you get (another problem with being a metal fabricator) and i think they could of come up with a cleaner better way for the blade clamp  but i did like the handle clamps Ive allready come up with my version for that  just working on the blade thing now

I like the rod holders, but be carefull with losing rods when you are towing the sled with your snowmobile.

lol i get board easy .  i think im almost done.  i still have to make some kind of auger mount.   i have a gas piston for the lid. some sort of tail lite when towing it with my sled because i travel on the trails. led for inside and finish the trim on the wood inside

I like the rod holders, but be carefull with losing rods when you are towing the sled with your snowmobile.

You could always just strap a bungee cord over the reels so it holds them in.  Just don't go under any branches you'd have to duck under!

Snohiker,
I really like that rig..  I see a company/ self employment in your future!!  Nice work..  great prototype.  I especially like the wheels in the skis, especially if you know you cross roads to get on lakes..  Only thing is to make a way to hopfully the wheels turn and not freeze locked up and you drag it accross the road and get a square wheel! :D But great design...
How much does it weigh??  Is it a pain to load in a trailer??   Ps.  Love to integrated cook stove?  You have how much invested in it $$$ wise?

thanks maine.   the wheels work great fished a derby early this season and got soaked so much water on the ice and everything froze but the wheels didn't they worked just as planed. as for weight it more bulky then heavy. I'm going to say unloaded its about 35 to 40 lbs.   then add all the crap tackle traps rods propane augers vex aqua vu and so on. as for $$$ it started out really cheap a case of beer for the channels to hold the panels together. the panels were dug out of a scrap pile the skies were given to me buy a good freind and so on.   then i started getting fussy . all locking nuts and hardware gas piston for the lid stove and the 1\4 inch alum channel for the in side trim   u dint see it because its not on yet its going to protect the edge of the plywood so in all im still under forty bucks   im still going to add a tail light when i find one i like and led lights on the inside for those late night pack ups oh and some kind of auger mount for the jiffy on the lid   the morras fit inside
