ice conditions on Willow slough
« on: Feb 16, 2009, 07:43 PM »
Just wondering if anybody has been out to the slough fishing, and if so how thick is the ice and where did they park?                                                                                                                                  We all need to be careful out there now! please help each other out so we don't have to read or here about another person falling though the ice and not making it!!!!!! God be with his family and friends.

There was an earlier post by someone that said, the ice was bad when he came off, it was in chunks. He said it was over.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Had a buddy of mine go bank fishing there this weekend. He told me he saw some guys in a boat trying to break through ice near the dam to reach more open water. He said it was open all around the east pier. better off taking your boat.
Dude.....Dude!! Greg! Wake up! You're on fire!
