st catherine regulations?
« on: Jan 30, 2009, 02:54 PM »
ok, so i'm looking for size/limit for the following. rainbows, browns, lakers, and bass. the regulation book is not helpful at all. under table 2 there is no ice fishing season for bass or trout. in the index of lakes it lists all of the above fish but no limits and no sizes just open ice fishing is 3rd sat. in jan. hopefully i will be catching some of these this weekend, just want to be within the regulations. anyone know?

thanks,
matt

You need to go to the index of lakes and ponds to review.

It states for St. C:

"Brook, brown, rainbow & lake trout, landlock salmon, large and smallmouth bass: Ice fishing open season: 3rd Sat in January to March 15th."

i saw that but there is no size or limit listed there, and there is nothing on the table for ice fishing.

ty i see that now. i figured i was safe going by that table, but just wanted to make sure as the table does not mention ice fishing for those species. didn't matter today as i got nothing. hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, although it won't take much!  ;D
