hub pole pockets on quikfish 3

any of you quikfish 3 owners have a problem with the poles poking thru the bottom of the pockets in each of the bottom corners of the hut?this is very annoying,you would think they would put end caps on those hub poles to prevent this from happening.i have sewed the pockets and used gorilla tape on them also,but either way only last so long,any ideas would be highly appreciated.

 Mine has black rubber caps on the ends of the rods. Mine is last years model.
