Great benson fishing derby

I'm gonna sign up for the derby next weekend, I was wondering were everyone plans on doing there fishing? does the conneticut river count in this derby?

Good question.  The bays on the West side of the river are in Vermont.  But, the bays on the New Hampshire side are in New Hampshire.  Since the derby is limited to all "Vermont Waters," you should ask about the bays east of the low water mark.  You should be fine on the coves and setbacks in Vermont.

headquarters for this derby is usually at green dump on bomo.. also i believe it to be all of lake champlain and rutland county waters.. not sure if the connecticut falls into "rutland county

This derby is headquartered at crystal beach on bomo, and is open to all vermont waters including champlain, not sure about conn. river. It is put on by the Fair Haven Rotary club, and you can find tickets at bait shops around rutland county, or at derby headquarters. Also try to find them online at the fair haven rotary club.

All vt waters and champlain $5,800 in big fish prizes, $4,500 in big cash prizes. Lake trout, other trout, walleye, nothern pike, bass & $300 for biggest other fish, also a trophy for biggest laker. any other questions I have a flyer right here.

Make sure you buy your derby ticket , before you win all the  $$.
