I'm pumped to get out this week.  I'm making it my mission to get into some perch.  I hope the warm weather packs down somew of this snow.  I needed snowshoes out there.
If life were easy everybody would have one.

At the marina parking lot.

Walk out of the launch area towards the lake.  You'll see a path started.  Follow the path as far as you want or can.  It had a good start yesterday.  You need to hit a minimum of 50 fow.  It will be at least a mile.  I prefer to go to the left of the marina.  It gets deeper faster there and we always get some kind of activity.  However, many do well going straight or to the right.  The big thing is water depth.  The perch are there on the bottom.  Use emeralds if you can get them and use the most sensitive set-up you can - they will bite light.  Once you see your rocker move or your bobber move, s-l-o-w-l-y start to pick up.  They'll hit it.  Good luck.
