I fished Lake Henry outside of Scotland on Sunday and Lake Yankton on Monday.

Didn't get a bite on Henry. After watching someone else drive out on the lake I went to go get my SUV with the rest of my gear. While I was gone a 15 minute storm popped up and blew my shack across the lake. I'm sure that little storm killed any bite that would have happened.

Lake Yankton was a hell of a lot of fun. Fished about 3:00-7:00. I was struggling to keep wax worms on my hooks. My jigs were too big (and I wasn't taking time to run to Norm's to get smaller) so I only pulled in a couple perch and a bluegill that were really small. Guys next to me fished noon-6:00 and pulled in about 100 tiny perch. The theme of the day was "something to do, but no fish to keep." My tip up and minnow didn't get any attention the whole time I was out there.

I left my shack on the ice, so I'll be there Friday through Sunday evenings this weekend. More reports to follow

Fished Lewis and Clark on Sun....had one nice one on right away...he did get off (my buddies rod - he had a very light pannie rig).  We only marked 2 fish - 21 feet of water in front of walkers.  Pulled up and went to Wiegand.  I didn't like the look of the ice...I know it was prob more than OK...but I wasn't taking chances so close to a SD trip with my rig.  So we set up on the ramp and caught 2 big ham sandwiches, 1 nice bag of jalapeno chips, and a 12 ounce diet dew.

Fished Lake Yankton again today from 3pm to 7pm.  We kept pretty busy with light jigs and wax worms, pulling 20+ fingerling perch and 5 bluegills through the ice. Kept two of the bluegills. I eventually got 4 tip-ups out too and we had some decent luck with those. Had four hits on minnows on those. Missed two, lost one because the leader broke as I brought him up, and the last flag got us a 9.5 inch perch. Was missing 2 of the four minnows when I packed up for the night, too.

Eventful afternoon, but not that much in terms of productivity. We did have fun, though.
