Can someone recommend a good spinning reel to use with the sweetheart perch rod?  I am going to surprise my daughter for her birthday (coming soon).  She loves ice fishing and I want to keep it that way! ;D

Okuma makes good reels. I also use Tica Cetus. I think its the Cetus 500B? Anyway its a 6 ball bearing reel and smooth as silk. Great drag. Nice looking reel also. $50 for a 6 bearing reel is not bad at all.
Every plastics manufacturer claims plastics outfish livebait. So now I use livebait just for the increased challenge.

I meant to do this a few weeks ago but forgot.  Thorne Brothers have helped me out and hooked me up on several occasions.  This year, we bought and they shipped us our Fish Trap Pros in 3 days.  We ordered Tuesday and we had them Friday just in time for the first annual PA rodeo (although we spent most of the night putting them together, LOL).

These guys are first rate.  If you call them, they will look out for you.  I will always go to them first.  Customer satisfaction means so much, and it's hard to find people that will go the extra mile to make you happy.

Thanks Thorne Brothers and their staff (especially Bill this time).
