Ok Guys...
Called the camp for final details this morning(Tuesday)
Its a 25 minute sled ride in, so a full tank in the sleds will do fine.
The fire might be started before we get there, however it might not, but there is fire wood there.
There is solar or propane heating for lights, there is a generator we can fire up, but Darrel says we wont need too.
THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER!!! we need to collect some lake water.
BECAUSE NO WATER WE ARE NOT TO USE THE INSIDE WASHROOMS....we're gonna have to take our business outside BRRRRRRR (bring a spare toilet roll.)
There are 5 bunk beds.....
WE NEED TO BRING A SLEEPING BAG!WE TAKE OUR GARBAGE WITH US THE NEXT MORNING
The cabin is spotless according to the owner, he wants it left that way.
All the dishes, cooking utensils, cutlery are there.
Cooking is gas stove.
Hope that answers any questions you all might have.
Both the trails into the cabin, and from the main camp to Big Sandy Lake are good according to the camp owner.
We aint gonna have much time on Keikewabik, so if everyone can get to the camp by 10 am that would be best, we could be on the lake by midday that way.
ITS SOUNDS PRETTY BASIC...BUT FOR $25 per person...I aint complaining
Our group for the Saturday is brkygetr, Snakehunter and his buddy Mark, LEWFISH, and myself.
brkygetr(dale) says he will sort out cooking in the evening, so I will bring eggs and bacon for breakfast.
Just need somebody to bring some smokies and stuff so we can build a fire the next afternoon and cook some for lunch.
Bring yer own water/pop (beer?)
Benbeattie will be joining us the next day, I still have to confirm where and when he wants to join us/meet . I have invited a summer fishing buddy and his son for the next day so there might be 9 of us out there.
I think that covers it...like I said, I am gonna just work on the logistics of meeting the first morning today, so I will be in contact by pm with everyone.
Cheers
Simon
