Power Augers

I have the nils master hand auger and love it, but when the ice is too thick . it takes too long to cut through,I wanted to know where I could find the powerhead at the cheapest price.

When did you buy your auger? Is the shaft stright at the top or is there a "T"  where the handle bolts on? If it's stright you can get a power head..If it's a "T" you can't.

how big is the engine?

It's a Tanaka 262 engine...and I believe it's about 1.8hp. Here is a pic of mine with a 8" auger bit.

If you want an internet shop...just pick any Nils dealer. All the internet prices will be basicly the same. .
