Anyone ever ice fish there? I'm just interested in doing some jigging for panfish.  Thanks......

I've fished it in summer but I'm always wary of ice on rivers, especially the Farmington. I will try and check it out this weekend and give a report on it....I live about 3 miles from there

Also....if you are going to rainbow reservoir you might as well just drive another 10 minutes and make it to Congamond.  Plenty of panfish there.

Thanks for the comments.  I've been at Congamond before and had some success but didn't care for all the snowmobiles. I tried West Hill for a while today, just jigging, but no luck.
