Mosquito Lake report

This morning I fished the North end of the lake, about 1000 yrds from snake island, and nothing was biting, 1 guy got a perch and that was it. So we decided to head over to the cemetary, We were about the 10th shanty out there but as soon as 2 o clock came around....wow the parking lot was full and so was the lake...over 75 Ice shantys filled up from the causeway to the damn, i know this is kinda outrageous but the fishing was so slow that i was able to count what i could and the rest with a set of binnoculars. I was amazed. Most anglers were fishing in 18-21 ft. w/ the water being murky most anglers were succesful with chartruese colors, few Perch, whitebass and crappie were being taken, and as far as the eyes' go, in my area 1 was taken with a blue n silver vibe. Id give it another week the front could of had something to do with it.

Has anyone seen any Walleyes caught lately? I'm not talk'n about "cigars" either. I heard access to the Houselcraft area is closed. Is that true? What about ice conditions............ ......with the warmer weather last week I was wondering how wet it was getting. I would appreciate any information at all. Thanks in advance!

We just came back from fishing out near the cemetary, didnt catch a thing and didnt see anyone else catch anything. We use a fish finder and didnt even see anything on that.
