Anyone got an adapter or quick easy way to use clam plate and eskimos ice anchor install tool? Although removing the drill is complicated seems like itll be a pita to do every time

either a 2nd drill or a brace

I know it is not the real answer you are looking for but likely the easiest and lightest, not aware of an adapter and switching would be a pain in the neck.
May your tip-up spool while your flag raises with hopes of landing the big one.

I'm lucky enough to have a 12 v drill I use for my anchors and leave my 18 on the plate. I'm spoiled with tools so I had the extra to utilize

I stopped using my Eskimo adapter years ago. I just use a 3/8 bit to pilot the hole and spin them in with my fingers.  Seems faster to me.  If I was using a clam plate I would just find a used drill that uses the same battery and just pull the battery off plug it into my anchor/ pilot drill

Any know for sure if the ion quick detach would work? I rather not carry an extra drill.

I also got the speed wrench for my anchoring needs, cheaper and lighter than a second drill, plus it stays in the shelters bag.
