I can't wait to see more pictures of your cabin. I never saw a stove like your's, that's a really unique.
Look forward to the upcoming week and checking in to see how things are going.Did you get out there much over the winter - seems I was away a bit, perhaps you posted and I missed it.Safe travels,Dave
Drifter/Dave just wondering if the weather ever cooperated and you were able to visit cabin during recent vacation.Steve
Yep, am at the cabin now. Back home tomorrow. Pics and full report to come.
Sorry to hear about your issues with the boat and truck. The siding looks really nice. What are you going to put on the bottom below the siding?
Drifter Thanks for the up date.It must have been a challenge to get the scaffold set on the slope. That wasp nest should not be to hard to get rid of with a can of long shooting spray. There is a nice bulls eye to aim at.Hopefully the fix of the boat is an easy one.
Wow Dave, that sucks about the boat and truck!! Glad you made it back ok... The siding looks great, and the cultured stone is really going to make things pop! Do you plan on getting that done this season?
Been a rough week.Bilge pump float switch stuck and killed the battery, storm then sunk the boat.Water in the fuel meant a tow back to the dock at the end of it all. Then the truck battery was dead.
Dave,Thanks for the update. News from you has become a Summer staple for many of us.Cabin sure looks great, except for that nest!Sorry to hear of the troubles.Dumb Q: Bilge pump is auto, to avoid what eventually happened because it was stuck? I.e., it automatically came on but didn't shut off?Boat engine OK? Water probs only in fuel?
Cabin looks nice! Looks like nice insulated siding. I've hung a lot of siding and I've never hung from the top down. That must be high quality! I've used craneboard but it was still bottom up. Thanks for the pics
