Seen some animals along the way.

Went to the Pigeon Lake Derby and wife caught a nice walleye but didn't count. Only 43 fish caught out of about 5000 people. I saw a walleye and a 6-7 lb pike down my hole but couldn't get him to strike.

Club is good possibility or the bay beside. I fished the estates last week and couldn't see any kokanee on Vex so no lakers. There is a small muddy creek running in and maybe that is causing problems. Who knows but no kokanee usually means no lakers. It is lakers that you are hard for heh? I will be on ice around noon. Will also be out somewhere on the lake on Sunday. Hope to see you there. By the bay I put a big old railway type tie to get on ice. The little warm creek is running in and making ice dissapear. Hope the minus temps materialize overnight tonight and tomorrow. You will see my buddy Daniel out there tomorrow. He is camped at the club bay. Not sure how he is doing. He has been fishing hard since Thursday morning. He likes burbot and lakers.

I wish I could join you guys this weekend... unfortunately I've been off work the couple of days sick as a dog. I told work I wasn't comming in tommorow (too sick) then asked my loving wife if I could fishing......
She mentioned something about leaving me if I go fishing instead of going to work.
I told her it was a "tough dicision to make."
So apparently I'm screwed for the weekend
