The way the walleyes are still biting by the end of this week I'll have enough fresh cheeks to make 2 casseroles :D 

Wanna trade for some mercury filled steelhead or browns??   :D  They'll give you a nice glow!!

They're too chewy :P  I just like the filets but not the cheeks :tipup:
  I love the cheeks.  I was watching  and talking to a guy cleaning a walleye this last summer and he turned the fish over and cut on both sides of the fins and followed the almost v plate around and had a nice piece of very white meat.  I tried it on my walleyes and cooked the fins and all up .   Really good ,try it.  I also bleed my fish on the way in ,much whiter meat.

cheeks off a walleye is one of the best meats. nice texture and a wonderful flavor.
