it was a small spot about 3x7 just thought it was a slush pile and splash..

now that I think about it there are still a couple lakes around the area here that have open water still on them............I was on a smaller lake on thursday at my grandparents place and right out in front of their place there were 3 small spots I spose they were 3x5 or so but no ice at all still wide open and the rest of the lake has 6 inches!!!!!!! the weirdest part is that the open water is only in about 3 fow

idk if it isd springs or not the lake I fish doesnt have springs in it so who knows why there are open spots I just know that I have been fishing on Lake Reno and the walleye bite right now is A-1

here is a picture of what I got last night.........the big eye is 22 inches (roughly 4 lbs) and the other 2 are about 15-16inches.........the crappie is only 10 inches but I had a school of them come through and they were all nice.........I am gunna try again tonite and see if I can't get some more.........I will let you know my success............
