I was just wondering if anyone knows the ice conditons on roy lake. I will be visiting in march and wondering how much ice there is, and also if there are any hot lakes at this time. I visit this area every year, however i will be coming out a week later and am worried about the ice conditons.

I bet roy lake is like all the other lakes around here and only has a few inches right at the moment.  If you are coming in march, come early, and there will be a good chance of 1-2 feet of ice.  If I were you though i would stay off of Roy and hit up waubay, enemy swim, bitter, pickerel and those lakes.  I guess I have never heard of really good fishing at roy.  Good luck
