West Side pike fishing

Anyone know of any spots that have good enough ice to get after the pike in the Flathead?

Just a note McGwenegger Slough recently winter killed.  Fish is quite often and havn't seen anything but panfish and bass in the last couple years.

I saw two decent pike in there last season, and my neighbor caught and 8lb and a 10lb pike out of there when I was fishing with him this fall...so I don't think the "winter kill" theory is holding...there are pike in there, just not in any great numbers....

Good Fishing
