Which reservoirs around Denver and along the Front Range have good carp populations and is it legal to shoot them with a bow?

Almost every body of water around has carp in it.  However, the only ones that I know of where you can bow-fish are Barr and Jackson.  There might be more, but I know that it is definitely legal at these.  Check out the regulation book for more information.   Also, you might find more info here.

Thanks for the info.  Moving to the Denver area in about a month.

Taking of carp by bow, gig, or spearfishing is legal statewide-from the 2011 CDOW fishing regulations-just have a valid fishing licence and your good.

Keyhole reservoir in northeast Wyoming has tons of carp and lots of carp shooters, also a couple of carp shooting tournaments come summer. Come up this summer and shoot a truck load. Only 6 hours from Denver
