I think he is referring to the rod that Beaver Dam has come out with. Have not seen one yet, so no opinion here.

Reading their website, the rod is graphite, and tubular. The titanium spring bobber telescopes back into the tip of the rod if you don't want to use it. Looks pretty good, but I don't think it will be as robust as a solid fiberglass noodle rod.

I picked one up and have been "satisfied" with it. I don't like it as much as my traditional rods to which I added the frabill spring bobbers. The reason I don't is that it just doesn't feel as rigid as they do. It does the job alright, but it just feels.....weird.
Hard to describe I guess.

I would pass on this Rod. Friend bought one and I looked it over. Not a good build.
