Somebody posted the StrikerIce memorial day sale in another post. I jumped at that, 30% off anything. I bought my son a pair of the Guardian bibs. I was new to ice fishing last winter and jumped in head first. My kids (college aged) love it too. So in the past year I have bought a Guardian jacket for me, and 2 sets of guardian bibs for the kids. I found a set of Mossi bibs for me (they are more a snowmobile bib, but they are floaters and compliment my guardian jacket.I won't name all the other stuff I bought to get started...but well likely over $1400. I actually can't wait for winter. I think the sale goes until June 10.
If anyone's interested, Amazon is selling the Clam Kenai Pro 9710 for a song. The price has fallen $145 in the last 10 days from $320 to $175. This is a steal of a deal on this shanty and free shipping to anyone with a Prime account. For Comparison, Reeds has them for $259.99 and $187.50 to ship! LOL A total of $447.49. I wish I needed another shanty. This is a GREAT deal.
Good looking out, but it's showing up for $248 for me

check the blades.probably the Chinese junk blades that last a few months..buying Swedish blades are the expensive part of buying a auger at that price.the last few new strikemaster augers I bought had vmc stamped on the blades.those blades have held up but the china blades do not.still a good deal on a auger tho.
I just ordered a bunch of Fiskas. Thanks a lot for the sale info.
Mr.Seaguarglad to help hope you got some metallic/gold fiskas. they are the ones i use the most any more until it gets dark out. then i go with kodiaks mikes tiger glow blue as primary night time jig. fiska epoxies are my primary day time colored jigs for day time because they have the glass bead to help cover the hook some.JiggingIowait's til the end of this month. if your cart doesn't discount it automatically, call jamie and he will adjust it for you.
