strikemaster laser bottoms
« on: Jan 16, 2011, 05:27 AM »
i bought 2 tanaka 262dl this summer and had adapter made to fit laser bottoms. the tanakas are lite and run great. but the laser bottoms want to pull you thru the hole just as it enters the water. it this normal for laser [ 1-7 1-6 ]
                                             thanks

You're pushing down harder then you need too then when breaking through the last portion of ice with the lazer. The trick is feathering the weight of the auger just enough when hitting soft water thus keep it from boring through too much and pulling you down.
