Just a skin on Kelly Bay (VT side) Tues. morning - at least the water is cooling off to the point where it will freeze when we get a good blast of cold weather.

Drove by Drews setback last night, locked up, won't take long to make a couple inches on that.  Possibly by the weekend.

12/12 - Lyme NH setbacks where frozen over. There are 2 or 3 that looked, not yet...One more
good blast after todays rain and thinking right after Christmas.

I haven't. We drove by and around it quite a bit this summer taking the dogs to lower baker. I tagged out early last year and didn't get to hunt much this year. Sounds like a good place to explore- is there a lot of unposted land there?

I've been going in on baker road, there are a few posters on the lower side but I was going way back in.  Their is a Giant in there that I chased around for a week.  here's some of his sign.

The rub in the background is nice too.  Lot bigger deer then I ever saw in VT some 30 years ago when I was living there.  I really like how its tines marked the tree higher up!  You do need some ice there though as deer season is over.  Been out on the ice twice in North Idaho already.  4 inches of spooky clear.

Definatly way behind. My shanty was on 8" of good ice on  12/24/10. The sad thing is I am going to check some ice out tomorro and I realy don't expect much. I realy enjoy the early ice in December. This just rots.

Now that has to be cool when you get a lunker on to see it.  Have not seen clear ice in many many many years.

Found two lakes today that are completely iced up. Just under two inches on both. With the next two days being cold I think I'll try to get out Sunday or Monday.
