Wood Creek Pond Report
« on: Dec 21, 2008, 05:19 PM »
Made the drive up to Wood Creek today. Fished from about sunrise to 9 am. The ice was variable 2 to 3 inches with a bunch of snow on top. It was a real pain with all of the snow I must of had a good 3 inches of water on top of the ice around all of my holes by the time I left. With the harsh wind and the fact that is was snowing like crazy jigging was pretty much out. Spent my time walking from hole to hole keeping things neat. Tough day; two flags. No fish grrr... But I wont be able to fish now until new years so I'm happy I was able to get my fix.
Sorry no pix of the lake, it was just snowing so bad I didn't want to bring the camera out.

Too bad there were no fish to show for your effort but at least you got your fix. Thanks for the report.

I'm hoping something a little closer gets locked up this week. I can actually sneak away if I get good ice reports.

Slow fishing is better than no fishing Keith. ;)

Congrats on getting out there anyway.
