Took a Sanity Day

Between being burnt out and sick as a dog over the last 2 weekends I had not been on the ice since the trip up north ???. Work has been awful so I needed to take a Sanity day. Hit the ice about 8:45 after I but my daughter on the van to HMEA and fished until 1:45. Had to be home to get her off the van. Slow day on the tip ups yielding only 1 bass. Not a bad day with the jig stick though. Jigged up about a dozen yellows. Kept a few to make fish tacos. Great day to be out there. Now if I could find someone to sit with my daughter I'd hit another pond until dark ;) Planning on going tomorrow but might wait until later in the afternoon to see if the rain lets up. Was great to get the auger back last night just in time. Runs great now. Thanks Roger.


Keith if I make it back out later today I'll be sure to add a sunset shot. LOL

Good to see you were able to get out. I was supposed to work but my back said no way! Hate sitting home if not working. No skunk is a good day.
