Awful

Going on the pond today.  Must have been about 6" of snow with 6" of wet sluch under it and just plain water under that.  Wasn't crusted enough to hold weight and kept breaking through getting wetter and wetter.  Finally found a deep spot and went in over the boots...wet feet and went home.  Gonna take a few cold nights to make the snow firm enough to bear weight.   ::)

yup. walked out to see how a couple of guys were doing and the snow was not too bad, but the slush and water went over my shoes.

Got to love hating these sloppy, slushy days.
Hopefully the weather will chill down enough to at least freeze a solid enough layer to walk on (and not THRU)!
